TEAC Streamers DACs Preamplifiers
Teac NT-505 Network Player Preamplifier
Like its predecessor (the NT-503) it employs a dual monaural circuit design to process audio signals with even greater purity, with the latest VERITA AK4497 DAC chip used on each of the two channels. This improves the S/N (signal to noise) ratio by processing each channel individually in monaural mode, as well as delivering DSD512 (22.5MHz) native and 768kHz/32-bit PCM playback capabilities.
The Analog section, which is one of the keys to sound quality, includes four TEAC-HCLD buffer amp circuits that allow different drive modes, – fully-balanced drive for balanced output, and parallel drive mode for unbalanced output – to achieve enhanced acoustic expression.
On the network audio side, the NT-505 supports high-quality music subscription services, namely TIDAL and Qobuz, and is Roon Ready. There’s also a built-in MQA decoder, and you will enjoy unlimited music content on the Internet thanks to its high-quality digital and Analog processing technologies.
In addition to a wide range of digital and analog inputs, a Bluetooth® receiver supporting LDAC™ and Qualcomm® aptX HD™ allow you to stream high-quality audio wirelessly from your smartphone to this flagship USB DAC.
The NT-505 is a compact and high-spec USB DAC and network player that supports the latest Hi-Res formats and online music subscription services.

TEAC CG10M Master Clock Generator
Since the temperature has a huge effect on the accuracy of the crystal oscillator, minimizing temperature changes and maintaining it at an ideal level are extremely important in order to generate an accurate clock signal. The CG-10M-A employs an innovative oven-controlled crystal oscillator, the TEAC Reference OCXO to reduce oscillation frequency fluctuations caused by temperature changes.
Thanks to the TEAC Reference OCXO, the CG-10M-A delivers an ultra-high-precision 10MHz clock signal – within ±3 ppb of frequency temperature characteristics and within ±0.1 ppm of frequency precision – to USB DACs and digital players. A unique laser-engraved serial number and the TEAC Reference OCXO logo on every OCXC case is proof of the rigorous quality inspection undertaken during the manufacturing process.
ppm=10-6, ppb=10-9
Frequency temperature characteristics: A value of frequency fluctuation caused by temperature change
Frequency precision: An actual frequency range
Four gold-plated BNC connectors (50 ohms) are provided to deliver clock signals to multiple devices. Up to four devices that support a 10MHz input may be connected simultaneously, including USB DACs, network players and SA-CD players.
Independent and isolated circuit design
Each circuit in the CG-10M-A – from the power supply section to the buffer-amp at the output stage, – is completely isolated to prevent cross-interference when multiple devices are connected to the BNC connectors.
By incorporating a buffer-amp into each circuit, no degradation of the signal waveform occurs when the generated clock signal is shared by several devices.
